I have just completed my Teacher Training course with Beauty Academy, having researched many colleges and courses throughout Ireland for such a course, I am delighted with the methods, techniques and hands on experience we were taught and shown throughout this course. The support was thorough and available at any time night or day! God bless Deirdre for that! We were offered the opportunity to compete our observation hours and DVD day on their Teaching premises; which was an opportunity not provided elsewhere saving us a lot of stress and worry as students. Since being trained by Beauty Academy I have taught workshops in other Teaching Facilities, where many Tutors have commented on the effective methods and structure of teaching that we were taught in the Beauty Academy.

I started my teacher training with beauty academy in march of this year, since then i' ve changed my way of learning completely. Our tutor Deirdre was nothing short of brilliant. She adapted lessons for each and everyone of us and made our learning unique, entertaining ,and simple. We had alot of assignments to hand in and at times alot of questions. From the moment we started she gave us individual attention and feedback through emails, so we had contact throughout. I started at The Beauty Academy in March 2009 making myself the promise that I am going to be a successful nail technician at the end of the year. Little did I realise, that when the bug bites you you’re hooked. My next course was Diploma in Teacher Training in October 2009 and if that wasn’t enough I enrolled for Diploma in Beauty specialist in March 2010. And let me say all the hard work is worth it in the end. I was employed as a Nail Technician in October of 2009, and started teaching part time at the Beauty Academy. And I still want to go back and learn more. The Beauty Academy has opened doors that wouldn’t have opened otherwise.
The beauty academy team is like a family. They look after you and help you where possible. The teachers are professional and know where every students potential lies and will push you in that direction. Linda and the teachers always strive to make students feel important and at the same time at home in the college. Their teaching skills and methods have made it a pleasure to attend every class. There is never a boring moment in class. With them there is always time for laughter and still they can go back to what is important, teaching their students. Their support and enthusiasm really pays forward in the results of their student’s. I am still able to approach them with problems that I have at any time and they are more than willing to assist."

I began my studies in beauty academy in October 2008, studying beauty therapy, Indian head massage and epilation, I found the course to be quite intense and hard work but very enjoyable and rewarding I was dedicated to my studies and am extremely happy with what I have achieved, Throughout the year it was available for me to complete one day workshops in treatments like specialised waxing, hot stone massage, spray tan and basic nail art, learning how to perform each of these treatments has worked to my advantage as I can offer a variety of treatments to clientele which helped me when it came to working in a spa. I have the upmost respect for all the teachers I encountered during my studies, they helped me to achieve my goals and made my time at the college extremely enjoyable. Linda and her team of teachers are inspiring, motivating and incredibly knowledgeable, from working closely with Linda and my tutors I hope to become a teacher in the future. On completion of my course in July 2009 I was hired straight away as a beauty therapist in a busy spa, my experience in beauty academy has more than prepared me for the working environment. I now plan to return to the college to advance my skills as a therapist in other complementary therapies such as sports massage, lymphatic drainage massage and nail technology.
I really enjoyed my time spent studying my Beauty Specialist Course at Beauty Academy. Not only is there endless support from all the staff at Beauty Academy but the relationships I built up with my fellow students made the experience even more enjoyable.

I could not have picked a better college to do this course in as the atmosphere and the opportunity to work in a real life salon environment prepared me immensely for life in the Beauty Industry. During my time studying to be a Beauty Specialist I found it enjoyable, interesting and lots of fun. I didn’t want it to end. The tutors are extremely helpful and are always there to hand when you need their help. What I love most about the college is that their courses run in the evenings and at the weekends including Sunday which suit the working person.
