The course covers topics such as cleansing & toning , skin analysis, skin types & conditions. These are extremely important as you need to prepare the skin properly to get the best results with your make up application. The training will focus on tools of the trade, cosmetic science, lighting and how to apply Day, Night, Bridal, Mature and Special Occasion Make Up.

Students need to purchase a basic beauty kit. This kit can be purchased from the wholesalers. There are also various optional make up kits which are available for students to purchase at cost price. These kits will start you off in the business of Make Up Artistry. Details of these kits may be obtained on request. Students will also need to purchase the course text book. Students will need to take into consideration the additional cost of exam fees.
