We know proper diet and nutrition play a huge part in maintaining balance and health in our physical bodies. Nutrition is the way in which the food people eat nourishes their bodies. Conversely, bad diets will have a harmful effect on the body. The course will cover the digestive system, absorption, distribution and metabolism of nutrients. Included are: Calories, RDAs, Cholesterol, Carbohydrates, Proteins, Various Types of Diets, Food Allergies and Food Poisoning. This course will give you the professional confidence to make nutritional and dietary recommendations to your clients. It is ideal for any therapist who wishes to give more guidance to their clients on healthy eating and it’s benefits to the body and skin.

- Understanding the Digestive system
- Digestive Disorders
- Understanding Protein, Fats, Carbohydrates, Vitamins and Minerals
- Effects of Cholesterol, Antioxidents and Fibre on the body
- Effects of refined & unrefined foods and the effects of anti-nutrients on the body
- Common food allergies and sensitivities
Course Duration
One day a month for 11 months from 9am - 6pm
Course Fees

What Do I Need To Buy?
Student will need to purchase the course text book and have paper and pens in class. Access to a computer is not a necessity but is strongly recommended.
