Electrolysis Course, Epilation Course,
This is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which destroys growth tissue. It can be used on many parts of the body and is suitable for people seeking permanent hair removal. Epilation works by destroying the cells which promote the growth of the hair. Students will be trained on both Short Wave Diathermy and The Blend Method. They will learn the underlying theory of how to work safely with their machines, understand the current used in each method of Epilation and understand how these currents work to destroy the growth tissue. Epilation is still extremely popular as it has been proven to work safely and is effective on blonde/white hairs.
Course Content
- Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin, Hair and Endocrine System
- How Short Wave Diathermy and The Blend Method work
- How they differ
- How to select the correct needle size
- Different heating patterns of needles
- Practical application of each method
Course Duration
The course runs 2 evenings a week from 7pm – 10pm
