Qualification Required to enrol:
Students must hold a qualification in Beauty, Makeup, Nails, Complementary Therapies or Hairdressing before applying for this course.
At the Beauty Academy, our team of highly qualified and skilled tutors are dedicated and committed to delivering the highest standards of education and training to their students. Our tutors who teach this lecturing diploma are all qualified in the industry with a minimum of 10 years experience, have 5 years teaching experience and hold recognised teaching qualifications.
We believe you can only receive the best training by tutors who are both qualified and educated and who are committed to passing on their experience to trainee teachers. This is what we, at Beauty Academy, promise to provide for all our Teacher Training Trainees.
We also pride ourselves on teaching our trainee teachers ‘how to teach’ in a realistic environment and how to overcome any hurdles or obstacles you may feel could affect your teaching. We have developed our own unique and extremely successful teaching styles and methods of teaching which we are willing to share with all our trainee teachers.
Support throughout your Teacher Training Programme with your assignments is crucial. Our trainees are supported 100 % throughout their training from class 1 to class 8. All of the Beauty Academy Team are Qualified Teachers so when you call there is always someone there who can help and advise you. You will also have access to your Class Tutor by email at all times during the programme.

Training is delivered in our dedicated training school by our tutors who are passionate about the teaching of Beauty, Make Up, Nails and Complementary Therapies. In this course you will learn the necessary tools to prepare you for your new role in education and training.

Although many training providers are offering this course over a shorter duration, at Beauty Academy we feel that in order for you to get the best possible education and not just become a qualified teacher but to become the best qualified and confident teacher you can be, we give you 8 full days of training.
We could not stand by our reputation by giving you any less than the best.
For this course you are also required to complete the following:
- 50 hours of Teaching Practice while being observed by a qualified Tutor
- 30 hours of Observation (where you observe qualified Tutors in action)
- 10 hours of Solo Teaching Practice
When choosing a provider you should be aware that some companies will only provide you with the theories underpinning teaching. They will not provide supervised teaching practice or opportunities to practice your teaching skills.
We guarantee our students their Teaching Practice & Observation with Beauty Academy where you will be observed by a qualified Tutor who will give you constructive feedbackand assist you along the road to becoming the best teacher. We find this is what builds our students additional confidence on their journey to becoming Tutors.
We record your practical & theory DVD saving you the expense f renting a room and hassle of organising someone to record it and edit and burn it to disc.
We will send all of your assignments to both City & Guilds and ITEC on your behalf. We are available Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm by telephone or email to support you in your studies.
You are ONLY 8 classes away from gaining 2 Internationally Recognised Teaching Qualifications which will provide you with all the skills which are necessary to deliver effective training!
One Day a Month Mondays for 8 Months 9.30am - 4.30pm.
Courses comm. October 17th 2011 & Mar 12th 2012
Additional Days will be allocated for Teaching Practice. Home study will be required.

You do not need to buy anything for this course. All you will need is paper, pens and a ring binder.Use of a computer will reduce your work load. Students will need to consider the additional cost of exam fees.
