• Workshop 2 - Relieving Acne & Inflammatory Conditions

Do you have clients who are suffering from Acne Vulgaris, Rosacea, Inflammatory or Other Related Conditions? With so many clients having some degree of acne or inflammatory condition, we have designed this course to educate you, as their skin therapist, to help deal with these problems. We  understand problem skins, their specific needs and appropriate treatments for these conditions. We also believe in utilizing an ‘inside-out’ approach which means treating the condition internally as well as externally. By the end of the course you will leave having acquired the necessary education and skills to understand and help treat your clients who suffer with these recurring skin conditions.

• Workshop 3 - Inclusive Treatments by Skin Condition and Advanced Techniques

This is one of the most advanced skincare courses on offer today and ideal for therapists who want to keep learning! It will introduce you to the world of advanced techniques using Technoceuticals:- advanced technological equipment available to beauty therapists. This course will also look at how combining Cosmeceutical and Nutraceutical Ingredients together with Technoceuticals will enable therapists to get the best results possible in skin care without resorting to surgery! The course will explain practical advanced skin treatments through in-depth consultation, the use of active ingredients, understanding the need for technoceuticals and advanced techniques and prescribing appropriate ‘treat/repair’ homecare and follow-up treatments.

• Workshop 4 - Inclusive Skin Health Approach & 21st Century Skin Analysis

Understand how the body plays an important role on the health of our skin, from poor diets to ill health and how these matters affect the skin. As our skin is a mirror image of our inner health, we should learn to approach a skin analysis and overall skin health by understanding the ‘Inclusive Skin Care Method’. This Inclusive Skin Care Method can be described as analysing and assessing the Internal skin through effective questioning, analyzing the External skin through touch and feel as well as effective questioning but it also includes analysing the client emotionally, as this plays a huge part in the health of not only our skin but on the person as a whole.

• Workshop 5 - Practical Physiology of the Skin

This course will see the therapist approaching the skin from a completely different perspective than what they are used to. We will be looking at the skin with more of a medical approach. This will help to broaden your mind and your understanding of the skin and will give you a more in-depth understanding of the skin’s complex physiology and its connection to all organs and systems within the body. • Workshop 6 - Ingredients & Formulas

Be introduced to common ingredients used in every day products such as cosmetics and toiletries. During this course you will become familiar with particular ingredients and formulas used on a regular basis in the Beauty Industry. You will learn how various formulations can work with different skin types and conditions to benefit them greatly and achieve the desired results. Alternatively, you will discover the potentially harmful and toxic ingredients which are also commonly used today. These ingredients can be responsible for ill health, fatigue and can trigger allergic reactions. This course is a must for the therapist who wants to understand the effects and uses of ingredients in greater detail.
