Course Description

Our Full Time Beauty Therapy Course leads to ITEC, CIBTAC and the coveted CIDESCO qualifications. All of these qualifications are sought after locally and Internationally Recognised in over 38 Countries in the World.

This ensures that you will be highly skilled and employable at the end of your training. Beauty Academy Graduates are regarded as exceptionally professional and highly qualified beauty therapists and are sought after in the beauty industry.

We are one of only very few colleges who offer these ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO qualifications combined on a full time course nationally. However it is no longer sufficient to only train you in the skills that you need to enter the Beauty Industry; we have to help you to determine your career goals and train you in how to secure the future career that you desire.

Part 1 – Diploma for Beauty Specialist

Skin & Eye Treatments (Facials, Skin Analysis, Eyebrow Shaping, Lash & BrowTinting), Make Up (Day, Night, Bridal, Special Occasion & Mature Looks), Manicure/Pedicure (includes Classic, Hot Oil & Paraffin Wax Treatments), Waxing (Legs, Arms-under & lower, Bikini, Eyebrows, Lip, & Chin,  Professional Conduct & Business Awareness (Ethics, Hygiene, Confidentiality,  Sterilisation & Sanitisation, First Aid, Professionalism, Business Awareness)

Part 2 – Diploma in Facial Electrical

Specialised Facial Treatments: In this part of your training you will learn how to use classical facial electrical treatments to include galvanic, high frequency, faradic, micro current and vacuum suction. This classical training trains you how to gain greater results for your clients in their facial treatments such as Firming Facials, Pigmentation Clearing Facials, Acne Treatments, Anti-Redness Facials, Anti-Puffiness Treatments, Deep Cleansing Treatments, Radiance & Detoxifying Facials and Hydrating Treatments. Employers seek graduates with this qualfication as you cannot work with IPL, Laser, Microdermabrasion or Skin Needling unless you have this qualification.

Part 3 – Diploma in Body Treatments

Anatomy & Physiology, Full Swedish Body Massage & Specialised Body Electrical Treatments: In this part of your training you will learn how to use classical body electrical treatments to include galvanic, high frequency, faradic, micro current, g5 mechanical massage and vacuum suction. This classical training trains you how to gain greater results for your clients in their body treatments such as Body Firming Treatments, Anti-Cellulite Treatments, Anti-Stretch Mark Treatments, Detoxifying Body Treatments. Specialised Body Treatments: Hydrating & Exfoliating Treatments, Body Wraps. Employers seek graduates with this qualification as you cannot work with IPL, Laser, Endermologie and other specialised electrical treatments unless you hold this qualification

Part 4 – Professional product Training

Make Up Studio Professional Make Up Products are used in all make up training at Beauty Academy. We have an extensive range of good quality, highly pigmented professional make up products, in a huge array of colours to develop your make up skills.  Students will receive a fantastic 30% discount on these products while studying at the academy. Part 5 – Expert Training

At Beauty Academy we are delighted to work with external experts who offer insight into their own area of specialism to give greater insight into other avenues & opportunities within the beauty industry. These experts vary from successful make up artists, bloggers and salon owners who specialise in advanced medical skincare

Part 6 – Working in the Beauty Industry

Course Dates &Duration

The course runs for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. It will commence September 25th 2017, which will have you qualified by June 2018.

Course Costs

This Beauty Therapy Course Costs €4999 + Exam Fees. However, if this course is paid in full by course start date you will receive an incredible discount of €500 which makes the Course Fee ONLY €4499 + Exam Fees. There is also a payment plan option, whereby students may pay in instalments, this is available on the full course fee only. To discuss this option please contact the college directly. Compulsory Kit: A Beauty Therapy Kit will be needed for both college and home practice. This kit will start you off in business in the Beauty Industry and you can buy it directly at the wholesale price from our supplier. Details of this kit may be obtained by request. Students will also need to consider books, uniforms and exam fees.
